Inspiration, Where Do You Get Yours?

Inspiration comes in many forms. Personally, outside of being in mature, I love quotes and true stories, be in the form of books, oral story telling or movies. No-one achieves greatness without overcoming challenges and celebrating the small victories.

Every dream starts with a whisper inside that gets bigger and bigger. No dream is realized without taking the first step to bring it out from the inside of us into the world. There are no guarantees that a dream will be fulfilled when you take that first brave step.

Yet history is full of people who defied circumstances, logic, being beaten down by others and all kinds of challenges to bring their dream into the world.

These stories inspire me, they can lift me up when I feel down and they can make me soar when I am ignited.

I am a voracious reader but have to admit that I no longer read fiction because there is so much out there that I can glean from in others experiences.

Quotes remain among my favored vehicles of inspiration because they can catapult you into another dimension and are easy to remember.

Today I share with you a quote a friend posted on FaceBook, I have searched for the author but have not yet found the person that penned this beautiful quote.

There are 5 things in life you cannot recover:
A stone€¦after it's thrown.
A word€¦after it is said.
An occasion€¦after it's missed.
The time€¦after it's gone.
A person€¦after they die.
Life is short. Break the rules. Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile, Enjoy Life€¦

Where does your inspiration come from? Do you have a favorite quote you would like to share, I will add it to my collection.

Be inspired and inspiring, there is no greater gift to the world.
